Haitian Christian Outreach (HCO)

Support host organization, HCO, through various projects such as helping with construction of the second phase of the Peredo Community Hospital as well as participating in worship with Haitian churches. Because of the HCO philosophy, you will work side by side with Haitians.

Basic Itinerary:

Date Description
Oct. 15 Travel to Haiti
Oct. 16-21 Work alongside HCO
Oct. 22 Return to Kansas City

Transportation: All flights and ground transportation are arranged through HCO and are included in the registration cost.

Lodging: HCO will be our host and provide a safe place to sleep.  Sleeping materials maybe required.

Food: All meals and water will be supplied by HCO and is part of your registration cost.

Passport: It is a requirement of the Federal government that each individual traveling have an up-to-date passport.  Visit http://travel.state.gov/passport/ to learn more.

Visa: No Visa is required

Vaccinations: According to the CDC you will need to be up to date on these vaccinations: Hepatitis A, Malaria, Typhoid


Total Cost:

Registration: $2,200 (amount you will need to pay CCC. Registration costs include nearly all aspects of the trip).

Personal Expenses: $0 (You will only need a small amount of cash for extra spending or souvenirs.

Scholarships: The Missions Ministry Team is offering a scholarship for this trip (amount TBD).  The scholarship will be applied to your account on 7/15 and will reduce your 3rd payment accordingly.  To accept this scholarship you must click “YES” on the “Scholarship Assistance Needed?” button of the registration page.



March 15 Registration Deadline; $250 non-refundable deposit due
April 15 2nd Payment of $500 due
July 15 3rd payment of $725 due (less scholarship of $400 if applicable)
Aug. 15 Final balance of $725 due
