Brad Fangman

Pastor, Elder

Brad came to Christ when he was 17 years old. He was dating a girl, who kept referencing the Bible during some of their arguments over religious things. At the time, Brad knew little about the Bible. He went out and bought one in order to read it and get some ammunition and “win some arguments.” In the end, God ended up winning. Brad gave his life to Christ on July 13, 1978. At the time, he sensed an immediate call to ministry.

Brad then attended Ozark Bible College in Joplin, Mo., from 1979 to 1984. During that time he married Colette – the girl who motivated him to buy a copy of the Bible and now his wife of 30-plus years.

After college, they served in a rural church for 10 years in west-central Illinois. While there, God blessed them with twin sons.

In the fall of 1994 they moved to Shawnee with the intent of starting a brand new church, which is now Crossroads.

Today, in addition to serving at Crossroads, Brad enjoys following the Chiefs and Jayhawks, riding his motorcycle and spoiling his grandson.
